No Structural Damage For Brandon Nimmo
6 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Brandon Nimmo's (neck) MRI exam revealed no structural damage and "inflammation" is the new buzz word for his injury. He will rest for a few days and hope it dissipates, but there is no timetable for Nimmo's return after he landed on the injured list on Wednesday. Nimmo has been dealing with neck problems since April and is hitting just .200 (26-for-130) with three home runs, 14 RBI and one steal on the season. He's likely been dropped in most mixed leagues. New York's injury issues just keep getting worse. They'll mix and match with Rajai Davis, Juan Lagares, Carlos Gomez and J.D. Davis in the outfield until further notice.
