Le'Veon Bell 2019 Outlook: Ready To Be An RB1 Upon His Return
6 years agoAs we already know, Le'Veon Bell sat out the 2018 season due to a contract dispute with the Steelers. He got the long-term deal that he was looking for with the Jets and now the question is, where should he be drafted in fantasy drafts? We assume that he will be the focal point of the Jets offense. But after a year away from football, exactly how much of a workload can we expect Bell to handle without wearing down? We all know about his injury history, and that is something that could come into play in 2019. The passing game for the Jets under Sam Darnold should continue to progress, which will allow Bell room to operate in the backfield and leading the way to a high volume of touches. Expectations are for Bell to be a near 300 touch running back with the Jets in 2019, ensuring that he will be a first-round pick in fantasy. As long as health is not a question with Bell, he should have every opportunity to catch around 60 passes and to bring home double-digit fantasy scores. A sure-fire RB1 in any format, and well worth the draft day price.
