6 years agoMinnesota Twins designated hitter Nelson Cruz (wrist) is likely going to avoid a stint to the 10-day injured list. Luckily, the MRI on his wrist came back negative, so Cruz should not be out of the lineup for too long. There is a chance that he's back to swinging the bat by Tuesday or Wednesday. Mitch Garver will serve as the designated hitter and bat first versus lefty Tyler Skaggs on Monday. Garver is slapping the ball and deserves a look for DFS contests.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
