Miguel Sano Suffers Heel Laceration
6 years agoMinnesota Twins manager Rocco Baldelli said that third baseman Miguel Sano suffered a heel laceration while in the Dominican Republic and the team will have it checked out. The 25-year-old slugger was slowed by injury and ineffectiveness in 2018, hitting a putrid .199/.281/.398 with 13 home runs and 41 RBI in just 266 at-bats. His injury doesn't seem very serious, but he's worth watching this spring. His fantasy stock is obviously way down, but Sano has raw power that very few possess and could bounce back if he stays healthy. Use a late-round flier on him if your team is in need of some extra pop.
