Aaron Jones Looks To Keep Momentum Going In Week 11
6 years agoGreen Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones broke out last week against the Miami Dolphins, running for 145 yards on 15 carries with two touchdowns. Jones will face a tougher test in Week 11 against the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday night but expectations are still high. Jones had been held back earlier this year by a small workload. He had the highest yards per carry average in the NFL but struggled to get double digit carries in a game. After last week, there is evidence that Green Bay may be refocusing its offense on the running game. While the game script could eat into the number of carries he sees, Jones has also been much improved in the passing game. He caught three of five targets last week and has been much better in pass protection. Jones isn’t going to see 20 touches in Week 11, but his big play ability means that he doesn’t have to have an impact. Jones should be viewed as a highly-variable, high-end RB2 for Week 11.
