Jeff Teague Drops Nine Dimes Against Raptors
6 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves point guard Jeff Teague had a typical Teague-like performance on Wednesday night. While unspectacular, he still had a decent 12 points on 5-for-12 shooting to go along with nine assists, two three-pointers, and one steal, in 30 minutes of action. Teague’s shooting has cooled off considerably after his stellar opening night performance, shooting just 36.4 percent from the floor over his last four games. Nonetheless, even with poor shooting, Teague will always contribute assists, as he’s at 8.8 assists-per-game over that same four-game stretch. While he may not put up gaudy numbers like other point guards, Teague will always have a high floor with his assists, steals, and free-throw percentage numbers. He should comfortably contribute top-50 value for owners this season. He’ll look to get his shooting corrected when he takes on the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday night.
