Equanimeous St. Brown Mostly Ignored in Week 6
6 years agoDue to injuries, Green Bay Packers rookie wide receiver Equanimeous St. Brown saw a large amount of snaps in a Monday night matchup against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 6. However, he only saw a single target in the game. It ended up being an important and impressive back-shoulder catch for 19 yards that set Green Bay up for a game winning field goal. Still, it seems like quarterback Aaron Rodgers lacks confidence in St. Brown and avoided going his way all night. Comments after the game by Rodgers suggest that St. Brown is making progress but still may not quite be ready. St. Brown is very athletic and has great size. It makes him dangerous after the catch. However, he still needs to work on high-pointing the ball and developing his route running. St. Brown is a nice end of the roster stash in dynasty leagues but does not have fantasy value going forward in redraft leagues, especially since wide receivers Randall Cobb and Geronimo Allison should be returning soon.
