6 years agoToronto Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas racked up an efficient 18 points on 6-for-11 from the field for his club. JV got the start in this one after coming off the bench in his clubs first preseason game and was able to add nine rebounds and a steal to his solid line in 21 minutes of action. Coach Nurse has mentioned that he will be trying various lineups this preseason and this saw Serge Ibaka coming off the bench in this one. JV has been as consistent as they come over the last five seasons and we could see a spike in production if he can get up a couple shots from deep a night.--Gianni Costantiello
