Brett Hundley Traded to Seattle
6 years agoAccording to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Hundley has been traded to the Seattle Seahawks. He was traded for a 2019 draft pick. Hundley had an impressive preseason throwing for 263 yards with a 62.2 completion percentage despite very poor protection from the offensive line. Hundley fills a need for Seattle who needed to address their backup quarterback position. Green Bay will turn to the recently acquired Deshone Kizer to backup quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Kizer was drafted by Cleveland in 2017 and had a disappointing year as its starter. Green Bay traded former first round pick cornerback Damarious Randall to Cleveland to acquire Kizer. Kizer has similarly impressed this preseason.
