Jimmy Graham Converts in Red Zone in Second Preseason Game
6 years agoGreen Bay Packers tight end Jimmy Graham may have lost a step or two from his prime in New Orleans, but he is still a dominant red-zone threat. Graham displayed those skills on Thursday, catching a touchdown pass in the red zone from quarterback Aaron Rodgers. It was Rodgers’ first and only action in preseason so far. It was nice to see that Rodgers and his new tight end seem to have some sort of chemistry. However, there should be some caution as Rodgers also showed a rapport with Martellus Bennett last year as well. Bennett was also supposed to be a red zone threat, but never panned out for Green Bay. Green Bay has rarely produced big stat-line tight ends and it is unlikely that Graham will break that mold. He will be a useful, but touchdown dependent tight end in 2018.
