Brendan Rodgers Lands On DL In Minors
6 years agoColorado Rockies shortstop prospect Brendan Rodgers (hamstring) landed on the disabled list with Triple-A Albuquerque on Wednesday. Rodgers is the team's No. 1 prospect and was hitting .271 with 17 home runs, 64 RBI and 12 stolen bases in 103 combined games between Double-A Hartford and Albuquerque this season. This could hurt his chances of coming up next month when rosters expand, but he should still be owned in most dynasty leagues. His combination of power and speed will play at the next level. If we don't see him at the end of this year, we'll certainly see him in Colorado in 2019.
