Jimmy Graham 2018 Outlook: Not the Same, But Will Still Find the End Zone
6 years agoGraham had one of the strangest seasons among fantasy stalwarts in 2017. While he topped tight ends with 10 touchdowns thanks to a torrid eight-game stretch where he scored nine times, his 520 receiving yards were his lowest amount since his rookie campaign back in 2010. Graham also showed no explosiveness as his 9.1 yards per catch were easily the lowest of his storied career.
Graham might be infused with new life in his legs this year, though, because he will have Aaron Rodgers throwing to him in Green Bay. Graham and Seattle signal caller Russell Wilson had great red zone chemistry, but Rodgers should be able to get the ball to Graham between the 20s as well as Drew Brees used to during Graham’s glory days in New Orleans. Graham is past his prime and may never be the downfield threat he once was due to a series of knee injuries, but he should be able to post another 10-TD season and finish in the 750-yard range with Rodgers throwing darts to him. Do not be surprised if his playing time is hampered because Green Bay has veteran tight ends Lance Kendricks and Marcedes Lewis also on the roster, however.
