Josh Reynolds 2018 Outlook: Too Far Down The Depth Chart
6 years agoAfter Sammy Watkins departed, there was hope that Josh Reynolds might have some sneaky deep sleeper appeal as the Rams WR3. That went out the window with the Rams' acquisition of Brandin Cooks. With Cooks locked in as the WR1, Robert Woods as the WR2, and Cooper Kupp as the slot man/WR3, there is no hope for Reynolds outside of multiple injuries in front of him. Jared Goff may not eclipse 500 pass attempts this season after failing to reach that number last year. This is an offense centered around Todd Gurley, who, in addition to being the primary focus of the offense as a whole, is the third or fourth option in the passing game. Reynolds opens the season behind Cooks, Woods, Kupp, Gurley, Tyler Higbee, and Gerald Everett for targets. He can be safely ignored in all formats.
