Ryan Tannehill 2018 Outlook: A Season Of Despair
6 years agoWhile the 2018 outlook for the Miami Dolphins looks rather bleak, this could mean some good things for Ryan Tannehill and the passing game if his knee is fully healthy from two ACL injuries in two seasons. With a question mark at running back in Kenyan Drake and a spotty offensive line with the departure of Mike Pouncey to the Chargers, the running game is going to be hard to come by. The passing attack will have to lead the team if anything is going to happen offensively in Miami. While the departure of Jarvis Landry will hurt, the remaining receivers could bring solid production to Tannehill. While not as good as Landry, Danny Amendola and Albert Wilson could fill the vacated slot role admirably, while Kenny Stills has a real chance to be a breakout player this season. Devante Parker has been a true bust in his career to this point, but if he can get it together and contribute he will add another dimension to the offense which needs as many weapons as it can get. Unless you are in a two quarterback or super flex league, Tannehill will not need to be drafted, but much like Blake Bortles in past years in Jacksonville, Ryan Tannehill could ride garbage time to a top-15 fantasy finish by season end.
