Mohamed Bamba Shoots Well In Summer League Debut
6 years agoOrlando Magic rookie center Mohamed Bamba made his Summer League debut on Friday against the Brooklyn Nets. He scored 11 points on 5-for-8 shooting and pulled down seven rebounds. Bamba also added in a pair of assists and was 1-for-2 from three. The former Texas Longhorn averaged a double-double in one season in Austin, but his 27.5 percent mark from three was something that needs to be improved on if he wants to maximize his NBA potential. How valuable the rookie is this year from a fantasy perspective will depend on how quickly he develops into a startable big man, as the Magic have center Nikola Vucevic under contract for one more season and could go into the 2018-2019 season with him still as their starter.
