Klay Thompson Drops 25 Points In Return
7 years agoGolden State Warriors guard/forward Klay Thompson (thumb) made his first appearance since March 11 on Saturday, scoring 25 points against the Sacramento Kings. He shot 10-for-19 from the field and went 3-for-7 from deep in 32 minutes. Thompson could have a nice end-of-season run, picking up extra touches with Stephen Curry (knee) out of the picture. He'll get another good matchup on Sunday to sharpen his shooting stroke, as Golden State will host a Pheonix team that owns the worst defensive rating (110.7) in the league. Also, only Charlotte has allowed shooting guards to score more points per 48 minutes this season.
