Marcus Morris has Efficient Night
7 years agoBoston Celtics power forward Marcus Morris got the start on Sunday and was effective in his 25 minutes. He shot 50 percent from the field as well as from downtown, good for 17 points. Despite the efficient scoring, he couldn’t manage anything more than three rebounds in terms of counting stats. With the Celtics standing pat at the trade deadline, Morris will represent the extra scoring punch if the Celtics are going to make a run at winning the conference. He’s also second on the team in terms of usage percentage, sitting at 23.4 percent over the last 15 games. Keep him in mind for the stretch run and for any weak perimeter defenses on a DFS basis.
