Kyrie Irving is Hyper-Efficient in Denver
7 years agoBoston Celtics point guard Kyrie Irving was hyper-efficient on Monday as he and the Celtics dispatched the Nuggets on the road. He went 11-for-17 from the field and 2-for-4 from downtown for 27 points and dished six assists. Irving, who has always played with a score-first mentality, has made a concerted effort all season to get his teammates involved. There have been occasional lapses, but it is essential if the Celtics want to be a balanced effort on offense. If Irving can be efficient on approximately 20 shots a game and his teammates are hitting their shots, the Celtics will be dangerous.
