Derek Fisher Will Have Opportunity For More Playing Time In 2018
7 years agoHouston Astros outfielder Derek Fisher will have every opportunity to earn more playing time when the Astros attempt to defend their World Series title in 2018. The 24-year old saw 146 at-bats last season, slashing only .212/.307/.356 with one triple, four doubles, five home runs and 17 runs batted in. Fisher was called up mid-season after slashing .310/.434/.524 in 28 spring training games and has plenty of potential as a hitter. The Astros farm system has yielded a host of talented prospects over the past four years and many believe Fisher has a chance to be next in line to emerge. Fisher's fantasy value is at its highest in keeper and dynasty leagues heading into 2018 and will be an intriguing gamble at the end of upcoming fantasy drafts.
