Dan Straily Looks For Third Straight Double-Digit Win Season In 2018
7 years agoMiami Marlins starter Dan Straily showed signs of great promise during 2017 before finishing with a mediocre 10-9 record and a 4.26 ERA. The former Athletic, Cub, Astro, and Red was arguably Miami's best starter last season. He hung around the National League's best in WHIP for a majority of the season, and from the middle of May until the middle of July, lost just one of his 13 decisions. Straily had seven starts with at least eight strikeouts, including three outings where he finished with double-digits whiffs. While Straily isn't the flashiest name out there, he's been an incredibly reliable starter over the last two seasons. He's compiled 24 wins since 2016 and should make for a solid starter on anybody's fantasy team this year.
