Justin Wilson Unlikely To Provide Much Fantasy Value
7 years agoChicago Cubs relief pitcher Justin Wilson will look to improve after imploding with the Cubs after being acquired at the trade deadline from the Detroit. Before coming to the Cubs, Wilson was the Tigers closer and pitched to a respectable 2.46 ERA with 13 saves. His move to the Cubs was not as smooth. In 23 games with his new team, Wilson was 0-4 with a 5.09 in 17 2/3 innings, which led him to be left off the NLCS roster in the playoffs. With a full offseason under his belt and a career 3.30 ERA, Wilson will likely improve, but that said, unless the left-hander is in the closer role, he will likely be best served on the waiver wire.
