7 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid battled through a right hand injury to lead his team to a victory over the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday night. He dropped 21 points and grabbed 11 rebounds while blocking four shots. Embiid also shot 9-for-11 from the charity stripe, as the Spurs didn’t quite have the muscle to stand up to him. Managers should savor this, as the 76ers will play the Pistons at home on Friday but then don’t suit up again until Jan. 11, as they will travel to London to promote the NBA abroad.--Jared Hong
