BALLER MOVE: Target ~110
CURRENT ADP: 121.3
ANALYSIS: Kirk Cousins was one of the most pleasant surprises of 2015, delivering the type of season for Redskins fans that Robert Griffin III couldn't the last couple of years. He was one of nine quarterbacks with at least 4,000 yards and 25 touchdowns. Cousins completed 69.8% of his passes, tops in the NFL and up from 52.3% in 2013. His 7.67 yards per attempt placed him eighth, and his INT ratio dropped to 2.0%, down from 4.5% in 2013.
Cousins’ supporting cast still consists of Jordan Reed, DeSean Jackson and Pierre Garcon. However, Matt Jones replaces the plodding Alfred Morris, who was largely ineffective last year, and first-round pick Josh Doctson is a talented, young receiver who should inject more speed into the Redskins’ offense.
If Cousins can hold his numbers relatively steady, he could be a starter on a team front-loaded with stud backs and receivers.
