The NASCAR Sprint Cup series is back after a week off and ready to go road course racing. This week the drivers head to Sonoma, California for the Toyota Save Mart 350 from Infineon(Sonoma) Raceway. The track is a 1.99 mile road course with 10 turns, hills, and drivers will face left and right turns with a ton of braking and shifting. The race is physically and mentally draining and will require drivers to have a ton of stamina from start to finish.
For fantasy this race is a bit of a crap shoot as there has been seven different winners in the last seven years with multiple drivers coming from outside the Top 10 and Top 20 starting positions to finish well here. Look for guys who are fast in practice and you can also find some value from guys who qualify outside the Top 10 starting positions.

I will also be sharing a link to a cheatsheet I developed and use weekly to help reduce research time. The cheatsheet includes driver salaries, track history(last 5 years), current form(last 5 races), Season Loop Data, and I also provide updated practice and qualifying rankings with a weighted system to rank all drivers. The cheatsheet will and lineup swill be updated throughout the weekend so be sure to follow me on Twitter and check your emails for lineup updates. Daily Fantasy NASCAR: DraftKings DFS Lineup Picks
Kurt Busch - $10,700
His salary has reached a season high and I am not quite sure how many people will be comfortable paying top dollar for Kurt Busch. This could be a great opportunity to go overweight on the #41 team. Kurt has a win and four Top 5's in the last five years(5 races) with a very impressive 4.4 average finish and 136 laps led. He has also been one of the most consistent drivers this season as he sits 2nd in the points standings with a series leading 13 Top 10 finishes.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. - $9,700
Outside of a second place at Pocono three weeks ago, it has been a frustrating couple months for Earnhardt Jr. and the #88 team. He and Hendrick teammate Chase Elliott both sit inside the Top 11 in points but have yet to win a race. While Jr. doesn't have the prettiest resume here at Sonoma(19.44 career average finish) he has finished each of the last two races inside the Top 10. He has also shown nice speed in the first two practices ranking 4th and 1st on Friday afternoon. He is safe in all formats.
Brad Keselowski($8,100) and Joey Logano($9,500)
If you are looking for value this week both Penske drivers are at season low salaries making terrific plays. The track history isn't the greatest. Logano has raced here seven times with three Top 10's and a 14.3 average finish while Keselowski has raced here six times with just one Top 10. If people are looking at track history the value could be even greater if they fall in a low ownership range.
Clint Bowyer - $7,700
If there is a Sonoma road course ringer it would have to Bowyer. He always seems to shine here and has recorded one win(2012) and nine Top 10 finishes in his 11 races here dating back to 2006. It has been a pretty disappointing season for Bowyer up to this point with just two Top 10's and he ranks 23rd in the standings. Look for Bowyer and the #15 team to give it everything they this week as this could be their only shot to get into the Chase.
