2 months agoLas Vegas Raiders quarterback Gardner Minshew II faced tough defenses back to back in Weeks 1 and 2 when the Raiders took on the Los Angeles Chargers and Baltimore Ravens. However, the Raiders get their easiest matchup of the year in Week 3, facing the mid-faceplant Carolina Panthers at home. The Panthers have been putrid on defense, which should make life much easier for Minshew. With his variety of weapons, including WR Davante Adams and TE Brock Bowers, Minshew is set to have a great day under center. The 28-year-old isn't worth a start outside of deeper leagues, but in 2QB or superflex formats, he becomes a must-start and slides easily into the top 24. While the Raiders could opt to go run-heavy against the Panthers, Minshew presents intriguing upside in Week 3.--John Johnson - RotoBaller
