Audric Estime 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook: Rookie Could Be Impact Sleeper In Denver
6 months agoThe Denver Broncos selected running back Audric Estime out of Notre Dame with a fourth-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. He's a power back who scored 29 rushing touchdowns in 25 games across his final two collegiate seasons. Not just a goal-line specialist, the 6-foot-1 Estime also averaged over six yards per carry on 373 carries at Notre Dame while catching all 26 reported targets in limited receiving duty. Denver's RB room is crowded with Javonte Williams looking to rebound alongside breakout candidate Jaleel McLaughlin and veteran Samaje Perine. Estime is a bigger threat to Williams as McLaughlin is a quicker receiving back, and Williams just put up a poor 3.6 yards per carry after tearing his ACL, LCL, and PCL. If he never recovers his pre-injury form then Estime could step into valuable carries given Sean Payton's "open competition" approach. He is a viable late-round flier as RotoBaller's RB63 in half-PPR with an RB62 ADP.
