Skyy Moore 2024 Outlook: Potentially on the Roster Bubble
6 months agoKansas City Chiefs WR Skyy Moore has struggled mightily to give the team anything on offense in his first two NFL seasons after playing against MAC competition in college at Western Michigan. HC Andy Reid and the Chiefs have given Moore every chance to have a role in the team's offense and he failed to capitalize on it averaging just 21.5 receptions for 247 yards and 0.5 TDs per season. This offseason, GM Brett Veach signed free agent WR Marquise Brown, drafted Texas WR Xavier Worthy in Round 1 of the 2024 NFL Draft, and also recently re-signed WR Mecole Hardman. Moore has plenty of experience on special teams in college and is likely now just an afterthought in the Kansas City WR room. While being attached to a QB like Patrick Mahomes is a nice thought, if Moore hasn't been able to breakthrough by now, it's likely that he never will. Moore's only fantasy value at this point is likely as a minimum price dart throw in DFS formats on game days should he be active.
