Giannis Antetokounmpo Out Versus Phoenix
8 months agoMilwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo (hamstring) won't suit up for Sunday's meeting with Phoenix. Head coach Doc Rivers said on Sunday morning that the multi-time MVP would likely be available. However, that's not the case, with Antetokounmpo getting the afternoon off before potentially returning for Wednesday's pivotal meeting with the Celtics. He hasn't missed much time this season, which is a plus for fantasy managers. Yet, the 29-year-old has battled numerous ailments over the last few weeks, including Achilles, knee, and hamstring issues. As a result, Antetokounmpo may get more time off in preparation for a deep postseason push. But as far as Sunday's game is concerned, Bobby Portis, who has averaged 20.7 points and 9.7 rebounds this season when Antetokounmpo isn't available, is a lock for DFS lineups.
