8 months agoIndiana Pacers forward Doug McDermott (calf) participated in practice on Friday and seems to be close to returning to game action. The veteran shooter hasn't played since February 26 and there has never been an official timetable for his return. The Pacers don't seem to be in a hurry to get him back on the floor, so he may still have to miss a couple more games. When he was in the rotation, McDermott wasn't receiving that many minutes as he had yet to find a firm role with the team. When he returns, it will likely mean fewer opportunities for Obi Toppin and Jarace Walker, but McDermott won't be fantasy relevant right away.--Alex Fischbein - RotoBaller
