8 months agoWashington Wizards forward Deni Avdija (knee) was forced to exit their last game against the Houston Rockets during the fourth quarter after stepping on one of Fred VanVleet's feet. He returned to the bench after a short time but didn't play the rest of the game. Afterward, he told the press that he felt like he avoided anything severe and that his knee was just a bit sore. Avdija has been one of the best players on the Wizards over the last month or so. Across his last 15 games, the 23-year-old has averaged 18.9 points, 9.1 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 2.8 turnovers, and 1.6 made threes per game. If he doesn't have to miss any extended time, Avdija should remain in fantasy lineups for the rest of the season.--Alex Fischbein - RotoBaller
