Chargers, Raiders Have Interest In Jim Harbaugh
11 months agoSources say it's believed that the Los Angeles Chargers will speak next week with Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh, who has indicated to associates there's a real possibility he could leave Michigan after just winning the National Championship to become the Chargers' head coach. The Las Vegas Raiders also continue to weigh the potential pursuit of Harbaugh. However, sources say there is strong support from the Raiders locker room for interim coach Antonio Pierce to be promoted to head coach for 2024 and beyond. Meanwhile, negotiations are ongoing with Michigan and Harbaugh as the school makes an effort to sign him to a contract extension, particularly in light of other recent movement within college football, namely Nick Saban retiring at Alabama.
