Jalen Hurts Present For Thursday's Practice
11 months agoPhiladelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts (finger) was present at Thursday's practice and was wearing a glove on his injured throwing hand. Hurts suffered a grotesque dislocation of the middle finger on his right hand in the Week 18 regular season finale loss to the New York Giants but returned to the game. But X-rays were negative for any fractures, and the 25-year-old is expected to play on Monday for the wild-card playoff game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Hurts was a high-end QB1 for fantasy managers again in 2023, although he carries plenty of bust potential into the first round of the playoffs because of his finger injury and with injuries to his top two wideouts in A.J. Brown (knee) and DeVonta Smith (ankle). Hurts is the second-most expensive fantasy signal-caller on DraftKings, behind only Josh Allen. UPDATE: Hurts was officially limited Thursday.
