Amari Cooper Inactive On Thursday Night
12 months agoCleveland Browns wide receiver Amari Cooper (heel) is surprisingly inactive for the Thursday night game in Week 17 against the New York Jets. Cooper is going to leave his fantasy managers hanging in championship matchups just several days after vaulting them into the finals with an 11-catch, 265-yard, two-touchdown performance in the win over the Houston Texans. It will be the 29-year-old's first missed game of the 2023 season. In his absence, quarterback Joe Flacco will be missing his favorite target in a bad matchup against a tough Jets defense. Expect him to distribute the football more among wideouts Elijah Moore, rookie Cedric Tillman and David Bell, with all of them being very shaky flex options in fantasy with everything on the line this week. Tight end David Njoku is the only must-start among Browns pass-catchers with Cooper inactive.
