Kadarius Toney Won't Practice Thursday
12 months agoKansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said that wide receiver Kadarius Toney (hip) will not practice on Thursday due to a strained hip. Toney strained his hip in the Week 15 win over the New England Patriots and is now firmly in danger of missing the team's Christmas Day game against the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders. The 24-year-old oft-injured wideout has had a disappointing first full season in Kansas City, catching 27 of 38 targets for only 169 yards and one touchdown in 13 games played. He's added 11 carries for 31 yards on the ground. The thing he'll be remembered for the most in 2023 was his offsides penalty that likely cost the team a win over the Buffalo Bills in Week 14. Even if he's able to return to practice the next few days and play on Monday, Toney shouldn't be in fantasy lineups as you try to advance to the championship in Week 17.
