No Touchdown For Courtland Sutton Saturday Night
12 months agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton was unable to find the end zone in the Week 15 blowout loss to the Detroit Lions for only the fourth time this year. He remained stuck on 10 touchdowns for the season, but he still had a solid performance in the 42-17 loss to Detroit by catching a team-high five of his six targets for 71 yards, which was only three yards shy of the team's receiving leader in Jerry Jeudy. Four of the 28-year-old's five catches went for over 10 yards. It was the second time in the last three games that Sutton has topped 70 receiving yards, although Sutton surprisingly has not had a 100-yard game yet in 2023. Sutton has a bit of bust potential if he doesn't find the end zone, but he will continue to be quarterback Russell Wilson's most reliable target and will have WR2 upside yet again in Week 16 against the New England Patriots.
