1 year agoNew Orleans Saints wide receiver Rashid Shaheed (thigh) was unable to practice with the rest of the team on Wednesday. Shaheed suffered a thigh injury early in the Week 12 loss to the Atlanta Falcons and never returned. It's not a long-term injury and he's considered day-to-day, but it was reported earlier this week that he's unlikely to play in Week 13 against the Detroit Lions. The Saints also lost No. 1 receiver Chris Olave to a concussion on Sunday, but he at least practiced on Wednesday. And with Michael Thomas (knee) on Injured Reserve, it could mean starting roles for rookie A.T. Perry, Keith Kirkwood and Lynn Bowden on Sunday. It's probably not safe to rely on using Shaheed as a flex option in a Week 13 that includes six teams on bye.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
