A rare matchup between Los Angeles and Green Bay is on tap this Sunday. This will be just the 13th time these two franchises have met on the football field. While Green Bay has a 10-2 record in the series, their seasonal outlook for 2023 is not as rosy. Their 3-6 record is one to forget after a string of successful seasons. Los Angeles, meanwhile, looks to take care of the winnable games so they can sneak back into the playoff picture.

This is a battle of two teams with well-known weaknesses. The Chargers are torched through the air (over 290 yards allowed per game), while the Packers run defense ranks sixth-worst in the NFL. Conversely, their run and pass defenses, respectively, are above average (possibly due to how many yards they let up in the other aspect of the game).

Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed has been coming on as of late, prompting fans of the team to push for more playing time for the rookie. Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs certainly aren't getting it done. Green Bay falls behind early often, which boosts the overall pass numbers for Jordan Love. If they aren't able to score on their first couple of possessions, the Chargers could put this game away quickly.
