Diontae Johnson Misses Wednesday's Practice With Thumb Injury
1 year agoPittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Diontae Johnson (thumb) did not practice on Wednesday ahead of his team's Week 11 matchup against the Cleveland Browns. Johnson apparently picked up a thumb injury in his team's Week 10 win over the Green Bay Packers. There is no word out of Pittsburgh as to just how severe the thumb injury is, but Johnson's ability to practice throughout the remainder of the week will be a good indication as to whether he will take the field against Cleveland this weekend. If Johnson ultimately ends up sitting, it would open up extra chances for George Pickens, Allen Robinson II, and Calvin Austin. Stay tuned.
