1 year agoThe Los Angeles Dodgers are among the teams interested in Japanese right-hander Yoshinobu Yamamoto, who is one of the top available pitchers this offseason, according to sources. Yamamoto's posting window has yet to officially open, but once it does, there will be plenty of teams interested in him in a market that has few big-name arms available. The 25-year-old has been lights-out for the Orix Buffaloes in Nippon Professional Baseball in seven seasons with a 1.72 ERA, and he was even better in 2023, posting a 1.16 ERA and 0.86 WHIP with 176 strikeouts and 28 walks over 171 innings. The Dodgers aren't sure yet if they'll be getting left-hander Clayton Kershaw (shoulder) back in 2024, and Walker Buehler (elbow) is likely to face some restrictions while coming back from Tommy John surgery.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
