Charlie Lindgren Shuts Out Vegas
1 year agoWashington Capitals goaltender Charlie Lindgren had a special outing on Tuesday, celebrating a shutout against the reigning Stanley Cup champions, the Vegas Golden Knights. He pushed aside 35 shots in a 3-0 win, recording his third career shutout. It's his first clean sheet in five years. Lindgren has performed well lately and started on Tuesday despite Darcy Kuemper being good to go after sitting out a couple of contests. He's won three straight starts to improve to 3-1-0 for the year, and Lindgren boasts a 1.76 goals-against average with a .947 save percentage.
