Khalil Herbert Listed As Questionable For Thursday Night
1 year agoDespite the fact that Chicago Bears running back Khalil Herbert (ankle) practiced in full all week, he's officially listed as questionable to come off Injured Reserve to play on Thursday night in Week 10 against the Carolina Panthers. Meanwhile, fullback Khari Blasingame (concussion) missed practice all week and has been ruled out. The Bears will need to activate Herbert on Thursday before the game if they want him to return this week. If he's ultimately held out of action for one more week, D'Onta Foreman figures to once again lead this backfield with rookie Roschon Johnson and Darrynton Evans working behind him in complementary roles. If the 25-year-old Herbert is activated from IR and is active on Thursday night, he will likely take a back seat to Foreman as he's eased back in.
