Joe Mixon Good To Go Despite Questionable Tag
1 year agoESPN's Ben Baby writes that Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon (chest) is good to go for the Week 9 Sunday night game against the Buffalo Bills, according to head coach Zac Taylor. However, on the team's official injury report on Friday he's listed as questionable despite practicing in full on Thursday and Friday. Mixon was a limited practice participant on Wednesday. The 27-year-old's chest injury never appeared very serious after he had 16 carries for 87 yards and a touchdown in the Week 8 win over the San Francisco 49ers. Mixon hasn't been particularly impressive yet in 2023, but he remains a must-start in fantasy lineups in a Bengals offense that looks to finally be hitting its stride going into a Week 9 showdown against the visiting Bills in primetime.
