Jeremy Sochan Confirmed As Starter At Point Guard
1 year agoSan Antonio Spurs power forward Jeremy Sochan will begin the 2023-24 season as the team's starting point guard. The Spurs have tested him out in the role during the preseason, and head coach Gregg Popovich has now confirmed his starting unit for opening night, with Sochan in it along with Devin Vassell, Keldon Johnson, Zach Collins, and, of course, Victor Wembanyama. Sochan proved himself as a very versatile player during his rookie campaign last season, and it will be interesting to see how he does in his new role. In preseason, the 20-year-old has tallied 9.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in 24 minutes per game.
