Carter Hart Nullifies Canucks With 25 Saves
1 year agoPhiladelphia Flyers goaltender Carter Hart stopped all 25 shots he faced against the Canucks on Tuesday, backstopping the team to a 2-0 win. He became the fifth netminder in franchise history to register a shutout in a home opener. After starting last season with five consecutive wins, Hart is off to another strong start, having gone 2-1-0 through his first three outings. He has allowed 2.33 goals per game with a .921 save percentage. Hart's form will be tested next by the Oilers, who have just put six pucks past Nashville.
