Russell Wilson Looking For Back-To-Back Strong Games
1 year agoDenver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson had just 17 fantasy points in the season-opening loss but had his best statistical game with the Broncos in last week's 35-33 loss to the Washington Commanders, putting up 33 fantasy points. After two games, he's averaged 25 fantasy points, which ranks fourth in the NFL at his position. It's a small sample size, though, and fantasy managers should want to see more from him before using him in starting lineups as a QB1. It was encouraging to see the 34-year-old get the deep passing game going in his 308-yard, two-touchdown performance in Week 2, and he now has five TD passes and only one pick through two games. Wilson heads to Miami in Week 3 to face a Dolphins defense that has been middle of the pack in terms of fantasy points allowed to opposing QBs through two weeks. He's a midrange QB2 for fantasy lineups.
