Broncos Defense A Solid Starting Option In Week 2
1 year agoThe Denver Broncos defense held the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders to 17 points in their Week 1 loss, but they didn't do much for fantasy managers with just one interception and no sacks on quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo. Denver limited start receiver Davante Adams and last year's NFL rushing leader in Josh Jacobs, but it wasn't a successful day for the Broncos defense/special teams unit in fantasy, and they allowed the Raiders to go 5-for-11 on third downs to stay on the field. The Washington Commanders present a challenge with plenty of offensive playmakers like receiver Terry McLaurin and running back Brian Robinson, but they also have an inexperienced quarterback in Sam Howell. The Broncos defense fell flat in fantasy in Week 1, but they'll be a top-10 unit on Sunday at home against Washington.
