Zack Moss Expected To Be Lead Back If Healthy
1 year agoThe Indianapolis Star's Nate Atkins writes that there is no question Indianapolis Colts running back Zack Moss (forearm) will be the lead back in Week 2 against the Houston Texans if he's healthy. Moss was able to return to practice this week in full on both Wednesday and Thursday, so he appears to be ready to make his season debut this Sunday after missing the season-opening loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars due to a fractured forearm he suffered early in training camp. Rookie Evan Hull (knee) is already on Injured Reserve and Deon Jackson had just 28 total yards on 18 touches and also fumbled twice in Week 1 as the lead back. Even though Moss figures to be the starter this weekend, he'll be more of an RB4/flex in deeper fantasy leagues in his 2023 debut.
