Christopher Bell A Little Disappointed After Kansas Performance
1 year agoChristopher Bell had a solid points day at Kansas Speedway on Sunday afternoon, but it wasn't quite the performance the Joe Gibbs Racing driver was expecting. Bell started on the pole for Sunday's Hollywood Casino 400 race but led just 15 laps and ended up with an eighth-place finish when it was all said and done. He finished 3rd in Stage One and 10th in Stage Two, which helped earn him 38 points on the day. He now has a 13-point cushion over the cut line with the Round of 12 cut coming up after Bristol next Saturday night. When interviewed after the race at Kansas, Bell stated, "I expected to be a little bit more competitive today, so that's a little disappointing, but overall, we scored points in Stage One, and then to get a top-10, that's what we needed to do."
