Bo Bichette Going For MRI Exam
1 year agoToronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette (quadriceps) is going for an MRI exam on Monday. Bichette was pulled early from Sunday's game against the Cleveland Guardians with right-quadriceps tightness and he's not playing in the series opener on Monday against the Washington Nationals. The Blue Jays apparently pulled Bichette on Sunday out of an abundance of caution, but the fact he's going for an MRI exam could mean it's more serious than they initially believed. Until we know more, fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day and check back for the results on his MRI exam or to see if he has returned to the lineup on Tuesday. The good news is the 25-year-old All-Star's injury is unrelated to the patellar tendinitis in his right knee that caused him to land on the injured list last month.
