X-Rays Negative On Rafael Devers
1 year agoX-rays came back negative on Boston Red Sox third baseman Rafael Devers (wrist) on Sunday, and manager Alex Cora is hopeful that Devers will be able to play on Monday against the visiting Houston Astros. Devers was hit by a pitch on his right wrist on Saturday and was held out of the series finale against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Sunday. It's great news for the Red Sox and Devers' fantasy managers, and he can be considered day-to-day for now. Check back later to see if he's in the team's starting lineup against Houston. When he's on the field, the 26-year-old Dominican is a must-start in fantasy lineups. He's currently hitting .272/.347/.516 with an .863 OPS, 29 home runs, 88 RBI and 74 runs scored in 471 at-bats this year.
